word of caution for this jacket: the sizing somehow feels different from other meyoco fits. I own several meyoco cardigans and I tend to buy 1 size above my true size as I like my outerwear a bit oversized. however, while following that same pattern here, upon receiving this it did initially feel a bit comically large. the sleeves are quite wide in my opinion and this is officially the first jacket I’ve ever owned that reaches past my fingers (I am considered tall at 5’9”). I will honestly say, had I not immediately gotten sick for 2 weeks, coughing up a storm in the room where it was left hanging, I would have returned it for a smaller size.
that being said, I am obsessed w this jacket. once I embraced it being a truly oversized fit, this became something I make excuses to wear. a lovely 72° day? well guess I should wear my jacket, just in case it drops cooler later. it may rain? I should grab my jacket, just to be safe! it is genuinely the perfect temperature for those days people think of as being impossible to dress for, those both hot and cold days, as the material is thin enough to rarely have me overheating but warm enough to protect me from a light chill or wind.
also the pockets must be acknowledged. there are large pockets on the outside that comfortably fit your phone, wallet, hands if they needed protecting that day. and then there are equally as large pockets on the inside of the jacket! I wore this thing to a concert at a venue that doesn’t allow bags so had to carry everything I needed in my pockets and had no problem at all! this jacket fit my phone, wallet, keys, my over the ear headphones, ear plugs, even the 2 shirts and the keychain I bought at the concert! and since mine fits oversized, it somehow didn’t look ridiculous from the pockets looking ready to burst.
besides that, the very obvious features are just as incredible in person as in photos. the embroidery is lovely in technique and cool in design. I get complimented on it every time I wear it out. and fascinatingly, because the embroidery is so technically well done, I get as many compliments from younger punk types as I do older fancier dressed ladies. the skill and quality is noticeable to everyone who looks.
tldr; if you don’t like larger fits, err on the side of caution and buy the smaller end of your standard size. however, I can attest that the oversized look w this really works. the pockets are amazing, the material comfortable, the embroidery beautiful and you will be surprised by how wide a range this look appeals to. highly recommend.
The design is absolutely gorgeous, and it fits Perfectly! I love how much more spacious it feels than I expected. The Patchwork is clean, and brighter than I imagined! Absolutely would by from here again!
Fits perfectly. Usually an M but sized down to S after reading reviews. Seems to be in good quality, have to see how it holds up after wearing it for a few months
Amazing quality! I've been waiting for an opportunity to buy something from this shop and I'm happy I did! I usually order things a size larger than I am so I got a medium, it slides off my shoulders a little bit so I probably should've stuck with a small but that's on me. Otherwise I'm extremely happy with my purchase :)
I got the jacket a bit oversized, and I love the way it drapes downward. It's very cozy, and the four pockets are a huge plus (Two external two internal)
